Hello, my name is Zachary Nelson and I, simply put, am a crafter. I have long held a passion for creation. When i was young it was toy blocks and erector sets, then as I gradually became more influenced by design and engineering it was scrap materials and power tools. I spent countless hours disassembling various toys and objects to bring life to a concept that dwelled in my mind, using the parts and pieces I had just liberated. Along with my passion for fabrication was a deep respect for the natural world, with its intrinsic complexity, vibrancy, and lustrousness. It is now my intent to combine these core passions and create magnificent works of art, from soldered glass, that are imbued with the spirit of the natural world.
